Spring 2026
The "I'm Sorry, Sari" Collection
Jeev Designs, Debut Collection
About the Collection
Showcased at the NC State 28th Annual African American Textile Society Fashion Expose at Talley Ballroom.

The "I'm Sorry, Sari" Collection is a tribute to Aayushi's childhood, upbringing, and heritage, and an homage to her culture’s rich history in textiles.
Inspired by the warm weather of Mumbai, where Aayushi's family is from, a turquoise-and-gold chiffon sari that Aayushi grew up watching her mother wear, and India's textile art forms, like batik and kalamkari. This collection strives to say "goodbye" to the difficulties of wearing a sari and "hello" to pre-draped, comfortable Indian eventwear sets.
All textile patterns and illustrations used in the designs were drawn and colored by Aayushi, then printed onto cotton and chiffon fabric.
Programs Used: Adobe Illustrator, Canva
Services Used: Spoonflower, Mill Outlet Village, Hobby Lobby
